You can find Mahavir Trade Agency over at Plot No. 197 in Azad Society. We are tucked right behind Sahajanand College in the Panjrapole area of Ambawadi. It’s a good location, though parking can be a real nightmare when the college students are around. The office itself is quite old. We’ve been here long enough that we know all the cracks in the walls. Most of what we do involves trading different goods, so there are always samples and boxes lying around the place. Sometimes it feels more like a warehouse than an agency, but we manage. The team is basically just me and a couple of others who handle the deliveries and the billing. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that; if the phone rings, whoever is closest just picks it up. It’s a bit informal, I suppose. We spend a lot of time on the phone with people from different parts of the state. In the afternoons, we usually take a break for some tea from the stall around the corner. The vibe here is pretty relaxed, even when we have a lot of orders to process. We don't really do the whole professional corporate thing. We just focus on getting the crates moved and the invoices signed. It’s been working for us for quite a while now and we like it here.
