Tech Defence Labs

Our lab is up on the fifth floor of the Swayam Complex. If you know the Vipul Dudhiya Lane near Stadium Circle, you know where we are. It’s a busy part of Navrangmpura, so there’s always noise from the street coming up. We spend our days looking at code and trying to figure out where things went wrong for people’s systems. It’s a lot of sitting in front of screens, but we enjoy the challenge of it. We aren't some massive firm in a glass tower; we’re just a group of people who understand how servers work. The office has a lot of cables running across the floor and extra monitors stacked in the corner. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we take the stairs. We deal with security stuff, mostly helping people protect their data or figuring out how someone got into a network they weren't supposed to be in. It isn't like the movies with flashing lights; it’s mostly just reading logs and testing firewalls. We have our desks set up near the window so we can see the traffic around the circle. It helps to look away from the blue light for a bit. We’ve been at this for a while and have seen how much tech has changed in the city. We just stay here and do the work that comes in. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator. We keep some snacks in the drawer for when the work goes long. It is just a normal office.
