Our place is tucked away near the Ramapir Mandir. If you know where Rajendra Park Cross Road is, we aren't too far from there. We've been operating in Rakhial for a good bit of time now. We make plastic stuff. It’s mostly containers and smaller parts that people use every day without thinking about it. The machines are old but they still run fine if you treat them right. Soni Ni Chawl is a busy neighborhood, so there is always noise outside. We start early in the morning before it gets too hot. Dealing with plastic means you have to watch the heat and the molds constantly. Sometimes things break and we have to spend half the day fixing a press. That's just how it goes here. We aren't a big corporation with suit-wearing managers. It’s just us in our work clothes. We have a few guys who have been with us since the start. They know the rhythm of the floor. People stop by to ask about orders or just to say hello. It gets pretty cramped inside with all the raw material bags stacked up. We try to keep it organized but work gets in the way. It’s a honest living. We don't do much advertising. Most people hear about us from the neighbors or other shops nearby. We just keep making what's needed and trying to stay out of the way. It is what it is.
