M. G. TEXTILES

M. G. TEXTILES is situated at Door No.-201 on the third floor of the Partmilan Building. We are just off C. G. Road, right near the Nest Hotel. It’s a good location in Ahmedabad, though being on the third floor means we are a bit removed from the noise of the main road. Our office is always filled with rolls of fabric and various textile samples. It can be a bit of a mess sometimes, especially when we have a big order going out. We have a few sewing machines set up in the back and they are usually running for most of the day. It’s a small operation, mostly run by family and a couple of regular staff members. We don't have a big showroom. If a customer wants to see our materials, we just pull out what we have and show them right there on the main table. The lift in the Partmilan Building can be a bit temperamental, so we often end up carrying bundles of cloth up the stairs. It’s a good way to stay fit, I suppose. We’ve been in this building for a long time and we know most of the other tenants. It’s a friendly environment. We don't do any fancy marketing or have a big sales team. We just focus on the fabrics and the people we have worked with for years. It’s a very practical and direct way of doing things, and it works for us.
