Laxmi En-Fab

Laxmi En-Fab is tucked away at 25, Nilsin Plot, which is right next to Patel Alloy Steel. Being so close to a steel plant means there is always some heavy activity going on around us. We do engineering and fabrication work, so our shop floor is full of welding machines, metal cutters, and various bits of iron and steel waiting to be put together. The sound of sparks flying and the smell of hot metal are just part of our daily lives here. We don't have a polished office; the small room we use for paperwork usually has a layer of fine dust on everything despite our cleaning. We spend our time looking at blueprints and trying to make sure the measurements are right before we start cutting. It’s physical work that leaves you tired by the end of the day. The guys on the floor have been doing this for a long time, and they know the machines better than anyone. We aren't interested in making things look pretty; we just want them to be strong and work the way they are supposed to. Sometimes we have to wait for materials to arrive, which gives us a bit of a breather, but usually, it’s a constant flow of projects. We’re just a local shop doing metalwork in an industrial plot. There isn’t any corporate ladder here, just a group of people who know how to build things.
