Lam Touch Engineers

We are based at 53 Pushkar Estate in Phase 1 of Vatva GIDC. Our workshop is right opposite the National Rifle Factory. It’s a heavy industrial area, so there is always the sound of machinery and the smell of cutting oil in the air. Lam Touch Engineers is a place where we do a lot of precision work, or at least we try our best. The workshop floor is always covered in metal scraps, no matter how much we sweep. We have a few lathes and some other specialized tools. It’s a small team here, just a handful of guys who have been together for a long time. We know each other’s rhythms. We don't have fancy titles or a human resources department. If there’s a problem, we just sit down and figure it out over lunch. Being in Vatva GIDC is helpful because all the raw material suppliers are nearby. We don't have to go far for anything. The sun gets really hot in the afternoons, and the tin roof makes the workshop quite warm. We just keep the fans running and stay focused on the tasks. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we know. We’ve been at this spot for years and seen the whole estate change around us. We just keep doing our thing, one part at a time, making sure everything is done as well as we can manage with what we have.
