Lakshmi Engineering Works

Lakshmi Engineering Works is located in Sukhram Estate. If you know the Rakhial area, you know it is full of small shops and bigger factories. We are right opposite Simla Ghar Ghanti and near Vimal Gharghanti. You can usually hear the sound of those machines nearby. Our place at A-6 is not huge, but we make the most of the space. We have got lathes and drills and all the usual stuff you would expect in an engineering shop. It smells like cutting oil and metal shavings most of the time. We do not have an air-conditioned office. We just have a small corner with a table where we do the accounts and talk to visitors. The NH 8 is close by, so getting materials delivered is not too hard, though the traffic can be a nightmare in the afternoons. We have been in Rakhial for a long time and have seen many businesses come and go. We just stay focused on our own work. People bring us things to fix or parts they need made from scratch. We do not use a lot of fancy technology, just good old-fashioned skills we have picked up over the years. It is hard work, and your hands are always dirty by the end of the day. But it is what we do, and we are okay with that. No big plans, just steady work for those who need it.
