You can find KSB Engineering over at Shed No. 52 in the Akshar Industrial Estate. We’re right near the Hathijan Circle, which is always backed up with trucks and bikes in the morning. Vatva GIDC is a busy area to be in, but it’s where all the work is. Our shed is basically a big open space with all our tools and materials piled up. It gets really hot under the metal roof when the sun is out, so we keep the big doors open most of the day to get a breeze. We do a lot of heavy engineering work, mostly things people need for their own factories. It’s not a quiet job. There’s always the sound of grinding or welding going on in the background. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a quick break near the entrance. We’ve been at Shed No. 52 for a while now. Most people know us because they pass by on their way to other parts of the estate. We don’t have a fancy showroom or a lobby. If you come here, you’re going to see us in our work gear, probably covered in metal dust. The Akshar Industrial Estate is a bit of a maze, but once you find the circle, we aren't far away. It’s just a group of us working hard every day. We don’t do much advertising. People just know where we are and what we do.
