Our workshop is situated at Survey No 563/2 in Phase-4 of the GIDC in Vatva. We’re right along the Mahemdavad Highway, which makes it easy for the big trucks to get in and out. Being out here means we have a bit more space than the shops in the city center. We focus on building equipment that people actually use in their factories. It’s dusty and loud most days, but that’s what a manufacturing site is supposed to be like. We don't have air conditioning in the main work area, so we all feel the heat together during the Gujarat summers. We aren't corporate people. Most of us wear work boots and carry measuring tapes all day long. We spend a lot of time looking at blueprints on a dusty table and making sure the welding is clean. We have some regular customers who have been buying our equipment for years. They know we don't do anything flashy. We just build the stuff, test it, and send it out. Sometimes a shipment gets delayed because of the highway traffic, but we try to plan around that. It’s a straightforward life. We start early when the air is still a bit cool and we keep going until the work for the day is done. It’s just about being reliable and keeping the equipment moving out the door. Kody Equipment Pvt Ltd has been operating here for a while, just doing our thing.
