Khodiyar Industries

At Khodiyar Industries, we are tucked away at 20/B in the Revabhai Industrial Estate. Our spot is right opposite the Sitaram Waybridge. To find us, you have to head down Chirag Estate’s Gali, which is off Surelia Road in Amraiwadi. It’s a bit of a maze if you aren’t used to the area. The alleyway can get cramped with deliveries, but we make it work. Our shop is a busy place where there is always something being moved or adjusted. We don’t have a big sign or a lobby. It’s mostly just the work floor and a small desk for the paperwork that piles up. Amraiwadi is an industrial hub, so there’s a constant hum of activity all around us. We see the same faces every day at the waybridge. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait it out, chatting by the door until things get running again. The floors are concrete and stained with oil, which is pretty standard for a place like this. We don’t try to make the place look like an office because it isn’t one. It’s a workshop through and through. We deal with the heat and the noise without complaining much. It’s just part of the routine. We stay focused on the tasks and make sure everything is in its place before we lock up for the night. It’s a simple, gritty kind of life for us here on Surelia Road.
