Kelvin Food Industries

We are based out in the GIDC industrial area in Naroda. Our specific spot is Plot No. 18-B in Phase-III. It is a very industrial part of town, so there is always a lot of dust and noise from the nearby factories. We have been doing food processing here for a long time. The building is a big shed with some office space carved out at the front. Our machines run for most of the day, so it gets pretty loud. We have to keep things very clean because it is food we are dealing with. The morning starts with us checking the raw materials that came in overnight. Most of the people working here are from the local neighborhood. We don't have a big corporate structure. It's just the owner and the floor staff working together. Sometimes the roads in Naroda get blocked with big trucks, which makes getting our shipments out a bit of a headache. We have a small yard where we park our own delivery vans. It is hot work, especially in the summer months. We don't spend money on fancy decorations. Every bit of space is used for production or storage. The tea stall right outside the gate is our main spot for a break. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs to be done. It is a practical, busy place with no frills.
