Arise Engineering

Arise Engineering is located way back in the Sharnam Industrial Estate. It’s a bit of a trek to find us since we are behind Zaveri Estate on the Singarva Kathwada Road. The G.I.D.C. area here in Kathwada is always buzzing with activity. We do various engineering tasks, mostly focused on industrial parts. The shop floor is usually a mess of blueprints and metal scraps, but we know where everything is. It’s not a sterile environment. We have some older machines and a couple of newer ones we picked up last year. The team consists of about five of us. We grew up around machines, so this feels natural. Sometimes the power cuts in the estate can be a real pain, but we just work around it. We don't have a big marketing budget or a sales team. Most of our work comes from the shops right next to us or people who heard about us through word of mouth. We focus on getting the dimensions right so the parts actually fit when they leave here. It’s practical work for practical people. The walk from the main road is a bit long, so most people drive their bikes right up to the door. We usually have tea around four o’clock, and that’s when we talk about the day’s mistakes and how to fix them for tomorrow. It is a slow process sometimes, but we prefer taking our time to get things done properly rather than rushing and making a mess.
