We are based out on the Sarkej Bavla Road, specifically in Changodar. Our place is Sub Plot No. 4, Block No. 329. Since we are a food company, there is always a lot of activity with trucks coming in and out. The smell in the air changes depending on what we are making that day. Sometimes it smells like spices and other times it’s more like baked goods. We have a lot of people working on the production lines, wearing their hairnets and aprons. It’s a fast-paced environment because food doesn’t wait around. We spend a lot of time cleaning surfaces and making sure the packaging machines don't jam up. The highway outside is always busy with traffic heading toward Bavla, so we have to coordinate our deliveries carefully. Inside, it’s a mix of heavy machinery and people doing hand-packing. We have a small office upstairs where the managers try to keep track of all the inventory, but they are usually down on the floor helping out. It’s not a fancy corporate headquarters. It’s a working factory. We deal with a lot of local suppliers for our ingredients. Sometimes the weather affects the arrivals, but we manage. We just want to get the food packed and sent off to the stores. It’s a lot of long hours, especially during the festival seasons, but we are used to the rhythm of it.
