Autotech Engineering

Autotech Engineering is situated right on the Ambicanagar Highway, near the Gujarat Housing Board. Being so close to the highway means there is always a lot of movement around here. The trucks rumble past all day long. It can be loud, but you get used to it after a week or two. Our workshop is a decent size. We spend most of our time out there. The Gujarat Housing Board area is quite lively, so there’s always something happening nearby. We get a lot of dust from the highway, so we are constantly sweeping the floor. It’s an honest day's work. We don't have a big sign, just a small one near the door. People usually find us by looking for the housing board landmarks. Inside, it's mostly tools and benches. We have a small corner for files and a computer, but that's about it. The lighting is okay during the day because of the big windows. In the rainy season, the roof leaks a tiny bit in one corner, but we just put a bucket there. It's not a corporate office with carpets. It's just a place where we do engineering work. We’ve been here long enough that the postman knows us by name. It’s a good spot for us, easy to get to and lots of activity around. We usually close up around six or seven depending on how much work we have piled up on the benches.
