Our business is based in the Rambag area, over at the Gopalkunj Society, in house 26/A. It is more of a residential neighborhood than a commercial one, so it is not like being in a big industrial park or a market. We work with food and beverages from here. Since it is a housing society, we have to be careful not to make too much noise or get in the way of the families living nearby. It is a bit of a different setup, using a house for our business operations. We have the rooms set up for different things, like the office paperwork and a separate area where we keep all the stock. It is a lot of back and forth on the phone with our suppliers and delivery guys. Sometimes the delivery vans have a hard time finding the right gate for the society, so one of us ends up standing out on the street waving them down. It feels much more personal being in a neighborhood like this. We know the man who sells snacks at the corner and most of the families living on our block. It is a relatively quiet life for the most part. We handle all the paperwork and manage the orders from our desks here. It is not a huge operation, just a few of us trying to keep everything organized and moving. We spend a lot of time checking the inventory in the back room to see what we need to order next. It is a bit cramped, but we make it work.
