Kakani Engineers

We are based over at Maheshwari Industrial Estate in Shahibaug. Number 44. It’s an old industrial spot in Tavdipura. The space isn't huge but it works for what we do. We’ve been operating as Kakani Engineers for a good bit now. Mostly we just handle mechanical jobs and engineering tasks that people bring to us. It’s usually loud because of the equipment, but that’s normal for this area. We’ve got a few guys who know their way around the shop. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we have to. Most of the work is hands-on. Shahibaug is a busy area, so getting parts in and out can be a bit of a hassle with traffic sometimes. We just deal with it. We don't have a fancy reception desk or anything. You just walk in and talk to whoever is free. We try to be fair with everyone. Sometimes we stay late to finish a project if the deadline is tight. It’s just how it goes in a small shop. We’ve seen other businesses come and go in the estate. We’re still here, doing our thing day after day. It's not glamorous work, but it's steady. We keep the tools clean, or as clean as they can be. People know where to find us. Just look for the Maheshwari estate and we are right there. It is a simple life for us.
