We have a large space here at the Gidc, covering plots E:210, 218, 211, and 219. We are located on Road No. F-23. JMC Paper Tech is where we put together paper machinery. It’s loud, heavy work. You can usually hear the sound of welding or metal hitting metal from the street. Gidc is packed with factories, so the noise and the smell of grease are just part of the atmosphere. We spend almost all our time out on the shop floor. The office is just a couple of small rooms with some old furniture and computers that have been around for years. It gets incredibly hot under the metal roof when the sun is out. We drink a lot of water and keep the industrial fans blowing all day long. Building paper machines is pretty complicated work, but we’ve been at it so long it feels like second nature now. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to do fancy sales pitches. Most of our work comes from people who heard about us from someone else. We get dirty and have grease on our clothes most days. It’s the kind of place where you have to be careful where you walk. Trucks are constantly coming in to drop off materials or pick up finished parts. We try to keep things moving as best we can. The main goal is just to make sure the machines work like they are supposed to.
