We’re over at 10, Lalita Estate, not too far from the Nagarwel Hanuman Temple in Rakhial. If you hear the sounds of heavy machinery and metal hitting metal, you’ve probably found the right place. We build machines here, and there’s always something being bolted together or tested. The estate is a busy spot, and our unit is usually packed with crates and raw materials. It’s not a corporate office with carpets and air conditioning everywhere; it’s a place where we get our hands dirty every day. We’ve got a team that’s been together for quite a bit, so everyone knows their role without needing much direction. We don't go for fancy titles or complicated hierarchies. If a machine needs fixing or a part needs to be fabricated, we just get to it. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to go out, but that’s just part of the job. We see a lot of people coming in to visit the temple nearby, which makes the area feel lively. We just focus on our work and try to make sure every machine that leaves Lalita Estate is built the right way. It’s a straightforward approach to manufacturing. We don't have much time for fluff; we just let the machines speak for themselves once they are out in the field. It is hard work but we are used to the pace by now.
