Jay Engineers

We have been running Jay Engineers out of shop 18 in the Tejandra Complex for a while now. It’s right there on Mill Road in Odhav, which is a busy spot but it works for us. Usually, you’ll find one or two of us at the desk or out back dealing with the technical stuff. We don't really do the whole fancy office thing because that's not how we work. Most days are just about getting through the jobs people bring to us. If you've been around the Div-A section of the complex, you probably walked past our door without thinking much of it. It’s a practical space. We mostly focus on engineering parts and fixing things that need a steady hand. Sometimes the phone rings all day and other times we are just quietly working on a lathe or a drawing. We moved into this spot because the location in Odhav is handy for most of the local factories and workshops nearby. It gets a bit dusty on Mill Road with all the trucks passing by, but that is part of being in an industrial area like this. We try to keep things simple here. There aren't many frills. We just open up in the morning, check what needs to be finished, and get to it. Some customers have been coming to us for years just because they know where to find us. We aren't trying to change the world, just keeping the machines running for the folks in the neighborhood.
