Jay Engineers

Our workshop is at Plot No. 508/509 in Phase-Ii of the G.I.D.C. in Kathwada. We are right on Road No. 13. Jay Engineers is a small company, but we stay busy. The G.I.D.C. area is full of businesses like ours, so there’s a lot of industrial energy around. We have a couple of plots here which gives us enough room for our machinery and some storage. It’s not a clean-room environment; there’s grease and metal shavings around, which is normal for an engineering shop. We’ve been in Kathwada for years. We know the neighbors and the local tea stall guys. Jay Engineers doesn't have a big marketing department. We just do our work and hope it speaks for itself. The guys on the shop floor have been doing this for a long time. We don't use any fancy mission statements. We just try to get the parts made correctly and on time. Sometimes the machines act up, but we fix them and keep going. It’s a down-to-earth place to work. We don't have a lot of meetings; we just talk over the machines or during lunch. Our address on Road No. 13 is where you’ll find us most days, usually covered in a bit of dust but working hard. It’s just how we do things here. We have been part of this industrial community for a long time and plan to stay here because it feels right for our kind of business.
