Jai Engineering

Jai Engineering is situated in the Pushpak Industrial Estate, Phase 1. We are right near the Nika Tube Cross Road in the Vatva GIDC area. If you know Vatva, you know it’s a place where things get made and fixed. The air always has a bit of a metallic smell to it, and the sound of lathes and welding machines is just part of the background. Our shop in the industrial estate is where we spend nearly all our time. It’s not a clean environment by any means; there is oil on the floor and metal shavings in the corners, but that is the nature of engineering. We have a few heavy machines that take up most of the floor space, leaving just enough room for us to move around. Near the Nika Tube Cross Road, there is always a lot of heavy transport moving through, so it’s easy for us to get materials in and out. The office part is just a small corner partitioned off with some plywood where we keep the records and take the orders. We don't bother with fancy uniforms or polished floors. We are here to work on the metal and get the parts right. Most of the guys have been working in GIDC for a long time, so they know their way around a machine. We just do the work as it comes, keeping things simple and honest at our spot in Pushpak.
