You can find us right opposite the Kiran Bus Stop in Phase-1 of the G.I.D.C. in Vatva. Being near the bus stop means there are always people around, which makes the mornings feel very alive. Our plot is numbered 5/38/6, and it’s basically a big shed where all the heavy lifting happens. We focus on engineering parts, mostly stuff that goes into bigger machines elsewhere. The air in Vatva usually smells like metal and industrial exhaust, which is just part of the deal when you work in a place like this. Inside, the floor is concrete and stays cool even when the sun is beating down outside. We have a small office area near the front gate, but we spend most of our time out on the floor. It’s not a quiet environment. There’s always someone hammering something or a machine whirring in the back. We take our lunches together, usually sitting on whatever stools or crates are available. It’s a simple life. We don’t have fancy brochures or a marketing team. When a client needs something fixed or fabricated, they usually just drop by or give us a call on the landline. We write things down in big ledgers and keep track of the jobs that way. It works for us, and it’s how we’ve stayed busy all these years in this dusty part of Ahmedabad.
