International Engineering & Trading Co.

We’ve got our office at Door No.U/5 in the Bhagwati Complex. It’s right near the Jain Merchant Society by the Mahalaxmi Five Road in Paldi. It’s a pretty well-known area, so finding us isn't usually a problem for people who live around here. International Engineering & Trading Co. has been in this building for a while now. The complex is always bustling with other small businesses, so there’s a lot of coming and going. Our day-to-day is a mix of engineering talk and figuring out the trading side of things. We have a lot of catalogs and technical drawings piling up on the shelves. It’s not the most modern-looking office, but it’s comfortable and it works for us. We handle a variety of parts and equipment, which means we’re always on the phone with suppliers or checking shipments. Being in Paldi is convenient because everything is close by. We don't really do the whole corporate image thing. Most of the time, we’re just in shirtsleeves trying to get through the pile of orders on the desk. Sometimes the traffic at Five Road makes it hard to get out for lunch, but we manage. We’ve built up some good relationships with the other traders in the area over the years. It’s just us, working hard in a small corner of the city, trying to keep things moving and making sure our customers get what they need. It is a bit cramped when we get a lot of inventory in, but we make it work.
