We are located at 14, Shree Jalaram Industrial Estate, which is right opposite the P.W.D. Stores and behind Chakudia Mahadev in Rakhial. It is a busy spot, and the traffic around the estate can be a bit of a headache sometimes. India Auto Engineering is basically a place where we get our hands greasy and work on auto parts and general engineering jobs. The workshop is packed with tools, lathes, and different bits of machinery that we have collected over the years. It is often dark inside until we pull the shutters all the way up in the morning. Being in Rakhial means we are surrounded by other small shops and traders, so there is always someone coming by to borrow a tool or ask for a bit of help with a machine. We don't have a big front office; usually, you just find us by the smell of oil and the sound of metal being worked on. We deal with a lot of local transporters and businesses that need things fixed quickly. Some of the equipment we use is quite old, but it still does the job better than the new stuff. We take our breaks outside on the step when the weather is nice. It is a simple life of fixing things and making sure the parts we produce are solid enough to last for the people who rely on them every day.
