I-Machine Engineering

You can find us at No. 73 in Mahadev Industrial Estate 2. We are inside the old Celluloz Mill Compound, which is just behind the Ramol Police Station and near the canal. It’s a bit of an older part of the industrial area, but it suits us fine. I-Machine Engineering isn't one of those high-tech looking places. It’s a working shop through and through. We have a lot of heavy stuff moving in and out, so the floors are pretty beat up and greasy. Being near the canal means it stays a bit cooler than some other parts of town, which is a nice relief in the summer. We’ve got a small crew here. Everyone knows their job and we don’t need much supervision. We just get in at the start of the shift and start the machines up. The police station being so close makes it a safe enough spot at night when we stay late. We don't have a secretary or anyone to answer the phone with a script. Usually, someone just wipes their hands on a rag and picks it up. It’s a straightforward way to run things. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy front office or shiny furniture. We just do the engineering work that needs doing and keep the place running. It’s a bit dusty and loud most of the time, but it’s where we spend our days and earn our living.
