Our place is in Phase 1 of the Vatva industrial area, specifically at A-14 in the Mahalaxmi Industrial Estate. It’s tucked behind Maruti and Shivshakti Estate, right across from Kirti Tools. If you know Vatva, you know it’s a maze of sheds and units, but we’ve been here long enough that it feels like home. The heat can get pretty intense in the summer inside the unit, but the fans keep things moving a little. We make different products here, mostly focusing on getting the machines running and keeping the quality where it should be. It’s loud, and there’s always the smell of grease or metal, but that’s the reality of an industrial estate. We spend most of our time on the shop floor rather than in the little office nook. There’s usually a lot of coming and going with tempo drivers and suppliers dropping things off. We don't have a receptionist; usually, whoever is closest to the gate helps out. It’s an honest day’s work for all of us. We aren't interested in being the biggest, just in making sure what we send out is decent. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually take our breaks and talk about the day. It’s just a regular factory life for us, keeping the production line moving one day at a time. Sometimes things break and we fix them. That is how the day goes here. We just keep our heads down and work.
