If you walk toward the Gujarat Housing Board area in Subhash Nagar, you will find us at Plot No. M-339. We are quite close to the bus stand, so there is always the sound of engines and people shouting for their stops in the background. It is a bit noisy, but you get used to it after a week or two. The shop floor is where most of the work gets done. It is filled with tools, some older machines that still run great, and bits of metal scattered around. Chandkheda is a decent place to work, even if the dust from the road gets into everything. We spend our mornings checking the machines and making sure everything is lined up for the day’s tasks. There is a lot of measuring and double-checking involved in engineering, and sometimes things do not fit right the first time, so we have to go back and fix it. That is just how it goes when you are building stuff. We have a small corner with a table where we sit down to eat lunch and talk about anything other than work for thirty minutes. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we first set up here, but the bus stand is still the main landmark for anyone trying to find us. It is a practical setup, nothing fancy, just a place where we put in the hours and try to get the jobs finished properly.
