You can find us at Plot No-102 in the Gajanan Industrial Estate, which is on Nagarvel Hanuman Road in Rakhial. The estate is always buzzing with activity, and there’s usually a lot of scrap metal and pallets sitting out in the common areas. Our workshop is a decent size, but it feels smaller because of all the lathes and drills we have squeezed in there. The floor is almost always covered in a thin layer of oil or metal dust, and we wear heavy boots to keep our feet safe. It gets pretty loud when all the machines are running at the same time, so we often have to shout to be heard over the noise. Rakhial is a tough area for traffic, especially when the big transport lorries are trying to load up. We spend most of our time standing at the benches, making sure the cuts are straight and the parts fit together. There is a small corner with a table where we keep our water bottles and lunch boxes. We don't have a fancy office, just a small desk in the corner for the paperwork and bills. It’s the kind of place where you learn by doing, and we’ve all been doing it for a long time. Every day is pretty much the same—start the machines, check the orders, and keep working until the sun sets over the industrial estate.
