Hardik Engineering Works

We are located at Rudra Estate, which is tucked behind Shubh Estate. It’s out near the Kathwada Singarva Chokdi area. This whole place is full of workshops and small factories. We do engineering work, so there’s always the sound of lathes or grinding wheels in the background while we work. The floor is concrete and usually has some oil spots on it from the machines. We work with metal, making different parts and fixing equipment for people. It’s a dusty, greasy environment, but that’s how we like it. We’ve got a couple of big machines that take up most of the space in units 1 and 4. Most of the guys here have been working with their hands for many years. We don't have a front desk or anyone to greet you; you just walk in and find someone. The Zaveri Estate is close by, so we see a lot of the same delivery drivers every day. It gets very hot in the afternoons, especially with all the machines running. We usually take a short break when the sun is at its highest point. It’s just a basic engineering shop. We don’t do anything fancy, just solid work that needs to be done. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around for it to come back, but that’s just part of being in this industrial zone. We just keep going until the day is over.
