You can find us at 8/7 in the S. I. M. Estate, right inside the Kalidas Mill Compound over in Gomtipur. Ahmedabad is a busy city, and this industrial area is no different. Our shop is where we do all the engineering work. There is always the sound of machines running or someone clanking metal in the background. It is a bit greasy sometimes, but that is how engineering shops are. We have been in this compound for a while, and we know the other guys working nearby. The day usually starts early before it gets too hot. We have our tools laid out and we just work through the orders we have. It’s not a polished showroom. It’s a place where things actually get built and fixed. We spend a lot of time measuring things and making sure the parts fit together. Sometimes a project takes longer than we thought, so we just stay a bit later to finish it up. There is a lot of focus on the technical details, but we don't use big words to describe it. We just make things work. The compound can be a bit crowded with trucks and stuff, but we have our own corner. It is a regular engineering life, nothing fancy, just steady work with our hands and the machines we have here in Ahmedabad. We just take it one day at a time.
