Shree Siddhi Vinayak Eng. is tucked away at K1/19 in the GIDC area. It’s one of those spots that you might easily miss if you aren't looking closely for the number on the gate. We are a small engineering outfit, mostly doing bits and pieces for other businesses in the estate. The shop is filled with various tools that have been around for a long time. They might look old and worn, but they work perfectly for what we need to do. We don’t have a receptionist or a fancy lobby for people to sit in. If you walk in, you’ll probably find one of us under a machine or hunched over a cluttered workbench. The floor is usually covered in tiny metal shavings by the afternoon, and we sweep it all up before heading home for the day. We talk more about the weather and the local news than we do about any business strategies. It’s just about getting the jobs finished on time so people are happy. Sometimes a customer comes in with a rush job, and we stay late into the evening to help them out. We don’t charge extra for being decent neighbors. The work is steady, and it keeps us busy from Monday morning until Saturday evening. There’s a tea stall just down the road where we go for a short break, which is usually the highlight of the day. It’s just a normal shop run by normal people.
