We have been here at 9, Shrinagag Society for a long time now. The workshop is right near the Golden Triangle and just opposite the Sardar Patel Stadium, so it is pretty easy to find us if you know the area. Most days start early with the sound of machines warming up. It gets a bit loud in here, but that is just how engineering shops are. We handle a lot of different metal parts and repair work that comes through the door. Some days are busier than others, especially when a big project is due. The guys on the floor know their way around the lathes and drills pretty well by now. We do not really do much fancy stuff, just solid work that needs doing. Sometimes the traffic near the stadium gets a bit much when there is an event, but usually, it is just our regular routine. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the machines are what matter most to us. We keep things simple and try to get the jobs out on time. It is a local operation, and we have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. We just keep our heads down and focus on the metal. If you walk past the stadium and see us, you will likely hear the grinding or see someone moving parts around the yard. It is nothing special, just a place where things get made and fixed day after day.
