Gaytri Refrigeration

We’ve been in Girdharnagar for a long time now. Our refrigeration shop is just a small local spot where we handle all kinds of cooling repairs. It’s not the kind of place with a glass front and air conditioning; we keep the doors open to the street. You’ll see plenty of old fridge shells and copper tubing sitting out front. Inside, the shelves are packed with spare parts, some of them in boxes and some just loose. We spend our days mostly gas charging or fixing motors that have burned out. The neighborhood is fairly quiet compared to the main roads, but we still get plenty of people walking by and saying hello. We know most of the families around here because we’ve fixed their appliances at some point. The workbench is covered in scars from years of use, and there’s always a radio playing some music in the background to keep things lively. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are. When the summer hits, we’re swamped with work and usually stay late into the evening. We drink tea from the stall at the corner a few times a day. It’s a simple way to make a living, and we’re quite content with our small corner of Girdharnagar. Every morning starts with unlocking the heavy shutter and sweeping the front step.
