Our shop, Gayatri Control And Automation Pvt Ltd, is at 29 Krishna Estate. It is right near Cadmech in the Vatva GIDC area, Phase 4. If you know the industrial estate, you know it is a lot of sheds and warehouses. Ours is just one of many. It is a dusty place because of all the factories around, but we keep our area as clean as possible. We have got a mix of machinery and some office desks tucked into the corner. It is not a place where you would find a lot of decorations. Most of the time, the floor is busy with whatever we are assembling. The neighbors are mostly in the same line of work, so there is always the sound of welding or metal moving. We do not really do fancy meetings. Usually, if someone needs something, they just walk in and we talk over the noise. It gets pretty humid in the monsoon, and the roads in the GIDC can get a bit flooded. We just deal with it. It is a working-class area and we are a working-class team. We have been at this spot for several years now. It is a bit out of the way for some, but for us, it is exactly where we need to be to get the parts and supplies we need. We just keep our heads down and do the job day after day. It works for us.
