We are over here at Door No. B-7 in Krishna Park Society. Most folks know the spot because it’s right on Viratnagar Road in Odhav. Being near the Swami Narayan Mandir helps people find us when they get lost looking for the society entrance. It’s usually pretty busy around here especially in the mornings when the temple traffic picks up and the street fills with people. We’ve been sitting in this same spot for a good while now just doing our work. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a regular room with our tools and materials spread around wherever they happen to fit. Some days the dust from the road gets in if we leave the door open too long but that’s just how it is in Odhav. We start early most days and stay until the work is finished. Sometimes neighbors from the society pop in just to say hello or ask for a quick favor with something they are printing for a family event. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of big projects going on at once but we manage to find space somehow. You’ll usually see a couple of us moving boards around or trying to find where someone put the tape last. It’s just how we run things day to day. We don’t have a big reception area or coffee machines like those corporate places you see in the city. If you come by you might have to shift a chair or two to find a place to sit.
