Ganesh Enginnering Works

Working out here in Vatva at I-147-A in the G.I.D.C. Phase-II means there’s always noise and the smell of metal in the air. We are right across from the Ahmedabad Mercantile Bank which is how most people find us because the street signs in this part of the estate are pretty much gone or rusted over. Enginnering work is a bit of a messy business so you’ll usually find us with grease on our hands and metal shavings on the floor. It’s a busy spot especially with all the trucks moving through the industrial zone throughout the day. We’ve been at this location for a good while and have seen the neighborhood grow from just a few sheds to this massive crowded hub. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that’s usually when we take a breather. It’s a practical setup inside with the machines taking up most of the space and a small corner for the paperwork that we have to keep up with. Sometimes the power flickers when the big units next door kick on but we just get back to it once it’s steady again. We don't have a showroom or anything like that because that’s not really what we do. It’s just Ganesh Enginnering Works and a few guys who know how to handle the tools. If you drop by just watch your step around the loading area because there is always something being moved.
