You’ll find us over in Janak Compound, right opposite the Chakudia Mahadev temple in Rakhial. It’s an old industrial part of town, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. The workshop is usually full of metal scraps and the smell of welding. We do all sorts of engineering tasks. Some days it’s small repairs for neighbors, other days it’s bigger projects for the plants nearby. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. Usually, people just hear about us from someone else in the compound. My family has been doing this kind of work for a couple of generations now. We know the machines. The area around the temple gets really busy during festivals, which makes getting to the shop a bit tricky, but we like the energy of Rakhial. It’s a working-class neighborhood and we fit right in. We keep our tools sharp and our benches organized, mostly. Sometimes it gets a bit cluttered when we have a big order, but we find what we need. It's not a glamorous job, but it's important. We make sure things are built solid. If a piece of metal needs cutting or joining, we’re the ones people come to. We just enjoy the work and the people we see every day around the compound. We're just a small group of people who like working with our hands and getting things done. It's not a fancy life, but it's a good one for us here.
