Gajjar Engineering And Fabrication Works

We’ve been working out of Plot 163 in the Pushakar Industrial Estate for quite some time now. It’s right across from the National Rifle area in Phase 1 of GIDC Vatva. If you come by, you’ll hear the sound of metal hitting metal before you even see the sign. This is a fabrication shop, so it’s full of welding sparks, heavy steel beams, and the smell of burnt iron. My father started this kind of work, and we’ve just kept it going. We do a lot of engineering tasks, mostly making parts for other factories or building structures that need to be strong. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and we all wear heavy boots to stay safe. It’s hot work, especially during the Ahmedabad summers when the shed traps all that heat. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. Most people find us because they know we can weld a straight seam or fix a broken machine part. We take our time with the measurements because if a hole is drilled wrong, the whole piece is junk. There are days when the orders pile up and we stay late under the tube lights to get them finished. It’s greasy and loud, and your hands never really stay clean, but there’s a good feeling when you finish a big project. We just keep our heads down and do the engineering work that’s needed for our customers.
