Gajanand Foods Pvt.Ltd. is based out of 814, Kothari Cross Road in Santej. It’s an area that has grown a lot, but it still feels like a place where people just want to get their work done without too much fuss. Our building is a solid spot where we handle all our food processing. Most of us here have been working together for a long time, so we don't really need to say much to understand what needs to happen next. Every morning, the first thing we do is check the stock and get the machinery warmed up. The road outside can get a bit crowded with lorries, especially during the peak hours, but that’s just part of being in Santej. We don't go in for big advertisements or loud branding on the walls. We’d rather just focus on the quality of the grains or spices we’re dealing with. You’ll find us mostly in the middle of the warehouse or near the loading bay. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting bags and making sure the packaging is sealed right. We eat our lunch in a small room off to the side and then it’s back to the floor. The sun gets quite strong out here on Kothari Cross Road, but the thick walls keep the heat out mostly. It’s a simple, steady routine that fills our weeks. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just making sure the food gets out on time.
