Our workshop is Shed No. 17 inside the Shri Ram Estate. It’s located in Odhav, right near the Anup Engineering compound. If you’re looking for us, we’re not too far from Soni’s Chawl. It’s one of those busy industrial pockets where everyone is doing something with metal or machines. The shed is where we spend most of our daylight hours. It’s got high ceilings and those heavy sliding doors that we pull open first thing in the morning. Inside, there are lathes and tools scattered around the benches. It’s a bit oily and smells like metal shavings, which is just how an engineering shop should be. We don’t have a fancy showroom or a big sign. Most people just know us because we’ve been at this address for years. The guys wear overalls that have seen better days, and there’s usually a radio playing somewhere in the back. When the monsoon hits, the sound of the rain on the tin roof is so loud you can’t hear yourself think. We just keep working through it. There’s a tea stall just outside the estate gate where we go for breaks. It’s a simple life here. We get the specs, we work the machines, and we make sure things fit together right. We don't spend much time on office decor because the shed is where the real work happens every single day. We keep it simple and honest.
