Flame Digi Print

Our shop is number 28 on the first floor of Arjun Complex. It’s right on the Naroda Dehgam Road, and if you look across the street, you’ll see the police station in Naroda. We do digital printing. It’s mostly just us and a couple of machines in here. Being on the first floor means we have to carry materials up the stairs, which is a bit of a workout every day. The complex is usually busy with people going to the different shops. We get a lot of sunlight in the morning through the front window. We spend the day setting up files and watching the printers run. It’s a lot of watching and waiting for the ink to dry. We don’t have any big goals other than finishing the work we promised for that day. Naroda is a good place to be, it’s got a lot of energy. Sometimes the police from across the road come over for small jobs. We just try to keep the machines in good shape so they don't break down when we have a big order. It’s a lot of maintenance really. We use a lot of paper and vinyl. The smell of the ink is something you get used to after the first week. We’ve been in Arjun Complex for a while now as Flame Digi Print. It’s a simple setup but it works for us. We just take it one day at a time.
