Everest Engineering Simrug Refrigeration

Down at Ashram Road, things never really stop moving. We’re in the Hemkoot Building, right at B/6. It’s across from the Capital Commercial Centre and just behind the big LIC building. If you’ve ever walked around this part of town, you know how hectic it gets with all the offices and people rushing around. At Everest Engineering Simrug Refrigeration, we deal with a lot of cooling systems and technical parts. Most days, the shop is a bit messy with tools and spare pieces lying around because we are usually in the middle of a job. Refrigeration is a big deal in this heat, so we stay busy. My hands are usually a bit greasy from working on the compressors. The building itself has been here for years, and we’ve seen the street change quite a bit. It’s not a shiny place, but it works for what we do. We share the area with a lot of other businesses, so there is always someone to talk to or get tea with during a break. We handle the engineering side of things without much fuss. Sometimes the elevators in the building are slow, so we end up taking the stairs a lot. It’s just part of the daily routine here on Ashram Road. We try to keep things organized, but when a big order comes in, the floor gets covered in boxes. That's just life in the workshop.
