We are over here in Jesal Park, specifically in Ambica Nagar, Odhav. It’s a busy part of Ahmedabad and we have been at this address, D1330, for a while now. Most days start early because the traffic in Odhav gets a bit much later on. We have a small group of people working here, mostly just doing what needs to get done with the equipment and managing the orders that come through the door. It is not a fancy office, just a practical space where we spend most of our daylight hours. Sometimes the power goes out or things get dusty because of the road work nearby, but we just keep moving. Most of us live close by so we know the area well. We deal with various technical things and machinery parts, keeping track of everything in old ledgers and some computers too. It’s pretty straightforward work really. You won’t find any big lounge areas or coffee machines here, just a kettle and some desks. People stop by to drop off papers or check on their orders throughout the afternoon. We try to stay organized even when it gets hectic during the end of the month. It’s a decent place to work and we all know each other’s families by now. If you are looking for our spot, look for the sign near the main gate. We usually close up around six or seven depending on how much work is left on the table.
