Engineering Workshop Western Railway

This is the Engineering Workshop Western Railway. We are located at Plot No-7 in Sabermati. If you know the area, you know it's a busy spot with a lot of movement all the time. Our days are pretty much filled with the sounds of tools and machinery clanging. Being part of the railway system means there is always work that needs to be done on various parts and equipment that comes in. It’s a lot of grease and heavy lifting, to be honest. We spend most of our shifts on the floor of the workshop, making sure everything is handled the way it should be. Sabermati has been the home for this workshop for quite some time now. The building at Plot No-7 is where we gather every morning to start the tasks for the day. It’s not the cleanest place you’ll ever see, but it’s a workshop, so you expect some dirt and oil around the place. We don't spend much time in offices; most of us are out where the actual work happens. There are a lot of different sections in the workshop, each doing its own thing. Sometimes it gets quite loud, but we are used to it by now. It is a practical environment where we just get on with the job. We see a lot of people coming and going because of the railway connection. It is steady work, and we just keep the machines running and the repairs moving along day after day.
