Elmech Engg. Co.

We are located at 27, Keshav Industrial Estate, which is right near the Nagarvel Hanuman temple in Rakhial. It’s a typical industrial spot with lots of small factories and workshops lined up next to each other. Elmech Engg. Co. occupies one of these units. The morning starts with the sound of shutters opening all along the street. Our space is filled with the smell of metal and coolant. We have a couple of older machines that still work perfectly and some newer ones we’re still getting used to. There’s a small loft where we keep some of the spare parts and old records. It’s a bit cramped, but we make it work. Most of the guys have been working here for years, so we don't need to say much to get things done. We take our breaks outside near the temple when it’s not too crowded. The work involves a lot of measuring and cutting, so we have to stay focused even when it’s noisy outside. We don't have a sales team. If the phone rings, one of us just wipes our hands and answers it. We handle whatever jobs come in, whether they’re small repairs or larger batches of parts. It’s just a regular engineering shop in Rakhial. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just trying to do a decent job for the people who hire us.
