Bajaj Foods Ltd.

We've been here at Ellisbridge for a while now. Our office is up on the fourth floor of Samudra Complex, right near the Hotel Classic Gold. It's a busy area but we like it. Bajaj Foods is mostly about getting decent food products out to people. We spend our days dealing with suppliers and making sure things are moving as they should. It’s a lot of phone calls and paperwork. Sometimes the office gets a bit messy with samples and files everywhere. My desk is usually covered in notes I forgot to throw away. We started out small and just kept going because people needed what we were selling. We aren't trying to change the world, just doing our jobs and making sure the orders go out on time. The lift in the building is a bit slow sometimes, so we tell people to give themselves an extra minute. It’s just us here, working through the list of things to do. We’ve had some long days, especially when shipments are delayed, but that's just how the food business goes. You learn to deal with the hiccups. Most of our neighbors in the building know us by now. We try to keep things straightforward and honest. Nothing fancy, just Bajaj Foods doing what it does from this corner of Ahmedabad. If you're coming by, just look for the Samudra sign. We usually have the radio playing low in the background while we work. It keeps the atmosphere from feeling too quiet during the afternoon slump.
