Our steel division is located out at 72 Palodia, which is a bit of a drive via Thaltej. If you’ve ever been out this way, you know it’s mostly industrial land and open spaces. At Electrotherm India, we spend a lot of time focusing on TMT marketing, which basically means we talk about construction steel all day long. The office is tucked away in an area where you see a lot of trucks moving back and forth carrying heavy loads. It gets quite dusty around here, especially when the wind picks up, but that’s just part of the job when you’re in the steel business. We don't have a big fancy glass building or anything like that. It’s more of a functional place where we keep track of orders and make sure the supply is moving where it needs to go. The team here is pretty small and we’ve all been working together for a while, so we know how everyone likes their coffee. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure the TMT bars get to the sites on time. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power flickers, but we just carry on. It’s a straightforward life out here in Palodia. We see the same faces every morning and the same trucks every evening. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday without needing to be flashy about it.
