We’ve been here in Prasoon Gautam Nagar for a good while now, right near the Naranpura railway crossing. It’s a busy spot, you can always hear the trains coming through and the gate going down several times an hour. Most days it’s just us and the machines running, doing whatever printing work comes through the door. It gets a bit loud when everything is going at once, but that’s just how a print shop is. We don’t have any fancy reception area or anything like that for visitors. Just the main floor with the stacks of paper and the smell of ink everywhere. Sometimes the dust from the crossing blows in, so we’re always wiping things down. It’s a practical setup, nothing more than what is needed for the day. We started out small and stayed that way, mostly because we like knowing exactly what’s happening with every job that goes out. If you walk past the railway crossing and see the sign, that's where we are. It’s not a big corporate building, just a local place where we get the work done. The lights stay on late some nights when there’s a lot to finish. We’ve known the neighbors for years. It’s comfortable being in this part of Naranpura. We keep our tools ready and the presses moving. There’s no secret to it, we just show up and do the printing. Sometimes the power flickers but we manage with the backup. It’s just how it goes here in the city.
