Ekta Foam Agency

If you head over to Ghatlodia, you’ll find Ekta Foam Agency on the first floor of the Manthan Complex. We are right near the Sun-N-Step Club Road, almost directly opposite the Bank of Baroda. It’s a good location, though the stairs can be a bit of a workout when we’re moving large rolls of foam or mattresses. The shop is usually filled with the smell of new polyurethane and fabric. We have been here for a long time, and the neighbors in the complex are all like family now. Most of our day is spent helping people pick out the right density for their cushions or beds. We have a lot of regular customers who come back every time they’re renovating their homes. It’s not a high-tech business; we use a lot of hand tools and measuring tapes. Sometimes we get really busy and the shop looks like a mess with foam scraps everywhere, but we always clean up before closing. The afternoon sun hits the front windows pretty hard, so it gets quite warm inside. We don’t have any big corporate goals; we just like to see the shop stay busy and the orders going out on time. People usually stop by after they’ve finished their banking across the street. We just sit down, have a glass of water, and talk about what kind of foam they need for their sofa. It’s a simple life here in Ghatlodia.
