Dinesh Engineering Works

Dinesh Engineering Works is tucked away in the Tirupati Industrial Estate, specifically at C-57/B. We are right behind Amber Cinema in Saraspur. It’s a bit of an older industrial pocket of Ahmedabad. The workshop is packed with lathes and milling machines. There isn't much room to walk around once we have a few jobs on the floor. Everything is covered in a thin layer of oil, which is just part of the job. We have been here for a long time, and the building shows its age a bit. We don't mind it though. It’s where we’ve done all our work. The cinema nearby is a good way to tell people where to go when they are looking for us for the first time. We handle a lot of small-scale engineering tasks, things that need a bit of manual turning or drilling. Sometimes we have to work on Sundays if a customer is in a real hurry, but we try to keep it to the weekdays. It’s mostly just the sound of metal cutting metal all day. We wear old clothes because they’re going to get ruined anyway. There’s a small sink in the corner where we wash up before heading home. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy enough. Saraspur is a crowded area with lots of traffic, but we like being right in the middle of it all.
